Our Candies are tooth friendly. Both Xylitol and Erythritol have shown to reduce plaque and aid in cavity protection. This special combination formula provides viral and cavity protection at maximum level.
The flavorings and colors are sourced from a US company that uses no toxins or chemicals in their production but were chosen for their appealing ‘fun’ factor tastes such as ‘lemon meringue, lime cola and pina colada.
Xylitol is a naturally occurring sugar alcohol found in small amounts in fruits, vegetables, the fibrous parts of plants. Once distilled, it actss as an excellent sugar substitute. Unlike chemically extracted artifical sweeteners, its is whole family safe!
The Xylitol in our product is 100% all natural- no compromises. Extracted via yeast fermentation of organic, non- gmo corn and vegetables. the fine structure of our Xylitol is the smae as Xylitol found already in the human body.
It is a sugar alcohol formed naturally in fruits. It is also made when food like cheese ferment. The flavoring and colors in our products are all organic and use no chemical and toxic element
Studies have shown that Xylitol and Erythritol do not spike glucose level in the blood, therefore our product is diabetic friendly.
Xylitol’s Oral Benefit have been researched since 1970. Over 300 research papers have been published regarding xylitol’s effect of preventing decay.
Many studies have been done on effect
of Erythritol on dental caries prevention. Studies have shown that Erythritol also slowed down development of caries and plaque. In terms of oral protection our product is superior to all candies on the market. Here is why;
It has been shown in several articles that for a xylitol product to have anticavity effect it has to contain at least 50% xylitol.
Our Product is composed of xylitol 80% and Erythritol 20%. This combination provides maximum benefit for oral health
Due to medication and medical conditions elderly are at higher risk of developing cavitives, fungal growth and dry mouth. Several Xylitol studies have shown to be effective in prevention and reduction of these conditons.
Our goals with Xandy
When we started working on Xandy, there were minimal Xylitol products on the market and the ones that did exist most often where not flavorful and often contained just as many questionable ingredients as mass produced products that do not pretend to be healthy. this convinced us to double our effort to do it right and make Xendy to be as pure as possible.
By combining Xylitol and Erythritol, we managed to make a product that has shown in studies to be the most beneficial in reducing plaque which makes for happy teeth.
The next issue we wanted to address was diabetes. Most of us know friends and family with diabetes, it is that prevalent. By using Xylitol and Erythritol in building our candies carefully, anyone with the disease can enjoy Xandy without concern.
We made sure to finish our recipe without using citric acid, as that would counter the benefits of using Xylitol in the first place and too many other Xylitol candies have citric acid in them which is one reason we wanted to do it differently.
